The Tylenol scholarship fund has been available for 16 years. Tylenol has traditionally offered 10 scholarships of $10,000 each, and 150 scholarships of $1,000 each. . In an effort to assist more individuals, the 2008 Tylenol scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000 and $5,000 each, and a total of 170 tylenol scholarships will be awarded. A portion of this money, approximately $250,000, is provided by McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals, the drug’s manufacturer.
