No deadline for 2012 has been announced, but the website does indicate that it will be open in early 2012. All applications will need to be submitted online and mailed in applications will not be accepted by the program. Apart from the sheer number of awards available, previous Buick Achievers Scholarship Program award winners will be able to apply to renew their scholarships every year. So long as academic criteria are met and students remain in need of financial assistance, renewal of scholarship awards should be a relatively cut and dry process. Of course students will need to maintain their full time status and continue working towards a major which meets STEM requirements.
