The PEO International Peace Scholarship
The PEO international Peace Scholarship is administered by the PEO International Peace Scholarship Fund. Applicants need to be women as well as non US or Canadian Citizens. Moreover, all applicants must sign an agreement which confirms that they will return back to their country in order to pursue their professional careers once their degree programs are complete. Annie’s Sustainable Agricultural Scholarship
Annie’s Sustainable Agricultural Scholarship is designed for full-time graduate as well as under graduate students who are studying sustainable agriculture. In order to be able to qualify for this scholarship, a student needs to be either beginning, or returning to at least accredited two or four-year college programs at a college school or a graduate school within the United States in the 2013 – 2014 academic year. The deadline for application is December 17. A total amount ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 can be awarded through the scholarship. In order to be eligible for application, students need to own and operate their small business, and must be able to show that it is a profitable venture with a viable future. The better and more thought of business that you are running, the higher will be the chances of getting a larger scholarship.
Ronald McDonald House Charities US Scholarship
The Ronald McDonald House Charities US Scholarship, administered by the Ronald McDonald House Charities, is one of the scholarships going unclaimed that can give an award ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. The scholarship is eligible for high school seniors who have become eligible to attend a two or four-year university, vocational training center or college with a full course of study. The important requisites are that all applicants must be residing with the geographic boundaries of a RMHC Chapter that is participating, be smaller than 21 years of age, maintain a GPA no less than 2.7 and be legal residents of the US. The deadline is Dec 20.
